For our store in Kriens LU we are looking for an orthopaedic technician (m/f/d) to join our team in the field of orthopaedic care with immediate effect or by arrangement.

münger orthopädie is the specialist for holistic orthopaedics for children and young people as well as for adults with neurological diseases. In our friendly premises in Kriens, we meet our young customers at eye level and ensure a high quality of life with state-of-the-art orthopaedic solutions.

As part of our dedicated team, you will be primarily responsible for the production and manufacture of aids in our well-equipped workshop. You will also advise our customers in our modern store or in institutions.

Your tasks:

  • Production of aids in our workshop
  • Customer advice
  • Contact person for patients
  • Sensitive support for our customers (mainly children)
  • Exchange with doctors and therapists

Your profile:

  • Fully completed training as an orthopaedic technician
  • Experience and/or further training in pediatric orthopedics is a plus
  • Empathy in dealing with children and customers of all ages
  • Team player mentality
  • Independent way of working
  • Driver’s license

As part of our dedicated team, you will be primarily responsible for the production and quality control of orthopaedic aids in our workshop.

Your tasks:

  • Production and assembly of orthopaedic and rehabilitative aids
  • Quality control and ensuring the high standards of our products
  • Support with repairs and adjustments to assistive devices
  • Collaborating with the technicians and advising the team on production issues

Your profile:

  • Completed craft or technical training (e.g. carpenter, mechanic or similar professions)
  • Craftsmanship and technical understanding
  • Careful, precise and independent way of working
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Willingness to learn new things and develop further

As part of our dedicated team, you will be primarily responsible for the fitting, repair and maintenance of rehabilitation aids.

Your tasks:

  • Adaptation and repair of rehabilitation aids
  • Advice and instruction for patients and their relatives on how to use the aids
  • Empathetic support for our customers (mainly children)
  • Carrying out home visits to adapt and maintain the aids on site
  • Exchange with doctors and therapists

Your profile:

  • Completed craft or technical training
  • Ideally experience in the field of rehabilitation technology or orthopaedic technology
  • Enjoy dealing with people, empathy and the ability to work in a team
  • Category B driving license for home visits
  • Technical understanding and manual skills

  • Ideally experience in the field of rehabilitation technology or orthopaedic technology
  • Enjoy dealing with people, empathy and the ability to work in a team
  • Class B driver’s license for making house calls
  • Technical understanding and manual skills
